FORBIDDEN RHYTHMS

An intimate evening exploring the connection of traditional jazz with Kapustin through the immigration of Russian song writers to America. Ophelia will be performing solo Kapustin works alongside the songs of Berlin, Duke, and Gershwin, collaborating with her sister, soprano Madeline Gordon.

Everyone is welcome to attend Ophelia’s final performance as part of her Master’s course at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of music and Dance. A place of refuge for her, this emotionally charged event will be intimate and free to the public.
